Parans could proudly inform that the company now is a member of Sweden Green Building Council (“SGBC”). SGBC is Sweden’s leading organisation for sustainable built environment.

SGBC’s members are companies and organisations that want to develop and influence the development of buildings to be more sustainable. Parans has chosen to become a member of the Sweden Green Building Council as the company protects the values that SGBC stands for and sees sustainability, both in terms of people and the environment, as an important issue. How the real estate and construction sectors use and utilize resources and which material is chosen, including the use of renewable energy resources such as the sun, is of great interest to Parans. SGBC is a member of the World Green Building Council ("WGBC") which has more than 90 councils worldwide as members and who work hard for a sustainable built environment.

- We are proud to have become members of SGBC, says Anders Koritz, CEO of Parans. The organisation lead relevant issues to create sustainable buildings. We must work together and learn from each other in order to make less impact on the environment. For Parans, it is natural to talk about using renewable resources, such as the sun, to the greatest extent possible. There is potential to reduce carbon dioxide emissions tremendously by using innovative technology such as ours for lighting instead of electric lighting. As already noted 10 years ago by WWF and GlobalFocus, carbon dioxide emissions can be reduced by 220,000,000 tonnes per year if 10% of the electric lights in Europe, the US and China are replaced by sunlight. At the same time, we also get the benefits of natural light for our well-being.
