Sunlight via the Parans system launched at BIMObject

2020-06-24 11:15 CET Pressrelease

This press release is based on the press release published in Swedish on June 24, 2020.  Parans launches today its products at BIMObject, which is the world's largest digital content management system where all information is gathered for a building’s life cycle. BIMObject is a platform for marketing and providing right information in the right phase of a project. Parans is given the opportunity to reach 1.8 million architects worldwide.

BIM (Building Information Modeling) is used in construction projects worldwide and is the global standard for digital information management. BIMObject has almost 1,900 suppliers and all the major architectural firms around the world use the platform. BIMObject currently has 1.8 million users globally with 45 million downloads per year.

Via BIMObject, Parans solutions will be easy available digitally for about 2 million BIMObject users (architects and specifiers). A BIM object is a digital copy of a manufactured product that can easily be placed by, for example, architects in drawing environments in the design process. Parans has chosen BIMObject, a world leader in this area, to meet the demands of the architects in their work process. In addition to providing the 3D format of the product, it is possible to add all relevant information about lighting design proposals, design, maintenance and more.

- Our strategy is to be “on every architects mind” and it is of great importance for us to be able to reach out and offer our products in 3D format in the drawing environments where our clients are located. Through this platform, we gain a new effective marketing channel, but we also become more relevant and provide clients simplicity with being able to access the right information about our products and draw them into the right phase of their work process. We look forward to more people open their eyes for our unique sunlight solution, says Fredrik Johansson Senior Vice President Sales & Marketing at Parans Solar Lighting.
